The Vishal Chaturvedi directorial reaches the Rs 300 crore mark in worldwide collections
Hanuman Ansh Box Office Collection Day 41: The spiritual film Hanuman Ansh directed by Vishal Chaturvedi has managed to earn Rs 300 crores in the worldwide gross collection on its 41st day at the Box Office. The film is running in its sixth week and has earned around Rs 300.25 crores in worldwide gross collection till date.
According to Sacnilk, the film has made Rs 6 crores in India on Wednesday. It was a fall of 27.3%, as the film had earned Rs 8.25 crores on Tuesday. With this collection, the net collection of the film in India stands at Rs 237.13 crores after 41 days of its run. Its gross collection in India stands at Rs 280 crores.
The film has performed well despite some hurdles it faced during the beginning of its journey. After its release, due to the release of films like Batwara 1947 and Awarapan 2, the screen count of the film declined. For sometime, Hanuman Ansh used to run in 25 screens.
But, as Batwara 1947 underperformed, the screen count of the film started to increase. The film also saw a good response from the audience, as more number of people visited the theatres.
Directed by Vishal Chaturvedi, Hanuman Ansh is inspired by the life of Baba Neem Karoli, the famous saint from Uttarakhand, whose real name is Lakshman Narayan Sharma. This movie revolves around the life journey of a young Lakshmi Narayan in quest for the answers to questions regarding God, life, death and human sufferings. His spiritual journey starts after his mother's demise.
The story depicts the life of this boy, who starts searching for answers and finds a way to become Neem Karoli Baba, a spiritual person. His preaching on love, service and compassion made him dear to many people. This movie, produced on a budget of around Rs 1.75 crore, has made a milestone at the Box Office as its total collection has crossed Rs 300 crore in the world. Leading roles in this movie have been played by Shobhinaw Satya, Vihaan Shedge, Chandan K Anand, Purnima Tiwari, Anil Rastogi, Gulshan Pandey and Bhagvandas Patel.
This low budget movie has gained success despite tough initial days because of its performance in the theater. With its performance in theaters, this movie has achieved another landmark with its collection of Rs 300.25 crore in the 41-day Box Office run.
