UPSC EPFO 2026 recruitment opens applications for 80 APFC posts from August 22, with details on eligibility, selection process and salary.
The process will give applicants an opening to become APFC in EPFO by being recruited on Pay Level 10 of 7th Central Pay Commission. Interested applicants can submit their application for recruitment through the official UPSC recruitment portal.

Total number of APFC vacancies declared is 80. The category-wise breakup is as follows:

OBC - 18
SC - 15

EWS - 8

UPSC EPFO APFC Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Applicants who wish to apply for the post of APFC must have a degree from any recognized university.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit for applicants in the category of General and EWS is 35 years.
Applicants in the reserved category will be eligible for age relaxation on the basis of government rules. As per the recruitment notice, SC/ST applicants can get an age relaxation of 5 years.
Selection Process
The UPSC EPFO APFC recruitment selection process will be done on the basis of a written exam, which will be followed by an interview.

UPSC EPFO APFC Salary
The selected applicants will be put into Pay Level 10 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. The pay matrix goes up to ₹56,100 - ₹1,77,500 with a starting basic pay of ₹56,100. Apart from basic pay, the selected candidates can also get other relevant allowances as per government norms.
