As per the estimates of Sacnilk, Awarapan 2 collected approximately ₹9.75 crore net in India on Day 5. With this collection, the total India net collection of the film has already touched ₹100.75 crore. The total India gross collection of the film is around ₹120.33 crore. The performance of the film was quite satisfactory in the overseas markets as well. It collected around ₹2 crore on Day 5, thus increasing its total overseas gross collection to ₹23.80 crore. The total worldwide gross collection of the film is around ₹144.13 crore.

Strong Opening Weekend

The film opened with a fantastic collection of ₹22 crore on Day 1. The film then experienced a great spike on Saturday and collected approximately ₹33.75 crore. On Sunday, the film collected around ₹26 crore, while Monday was steady with approximately ₹9.25 crore. The five days of collection show that the film has succeeded in holding onto its steam despite being released during the Independence Day weekend. The response of the audiences towards the film has helped in crossing the landmark of ₹100 crore.

Emraan Hashmi Gets His First Solo ₹100 Crore Film

The success of Awarapan 2 is crucial for Emraan Hashmi since he has acted in many successful films but this is his first solo ₹100 crore film. Not only that, the film has successfully crossed the lifetime collection of the original Awarapan film on its very first day. This film went on to beat the lifetime collection of many successful films of Emraan Hashmi which include Haq, Raaz 2, Ek Thi Daayan and Jannat.

Awarapan 2 is also the winner among the films which were released during Independence Day weekend. This film was in competition with Sunny Deol and Rajkumar Santoshi's Batwara 1947 but it has emerged as the winner at the box office. This film was also in competition with many other films like Spider-Man: Brand New Day and a DC film. Despite the competition, Awarapan 2 has managed to attract audiences and maintain strong occupancy.
