Popular actress Shagun Sharma, who stars in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, has made headlines after she made serious allegations against actor Gaurav Khanna. In preparation for the premiere of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, she accused Gaurav of harassing her during the shooting of the show in Cape Town, South Africa. Her allegations have become the center of conversations on social media, as people are now eager to learn more about the actress.
Shagun Sharma started her career in television as early as 2015 with Kuch Toh Hai Tere Mere Darmiyaan. During this time, she participated in many well-known Hindi television series as supporting and leading characters.
Her first breakthrough came with the serials Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, Gangaa, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon 3, and Tu Aashiqui. Nonetheless, it was only in 2021 that the actress gained recognition with her character Sonali "Sonu" Malhotra from Ishk Par Zor Nahi.
After that, Shagun played leading roles in Sasural Genda Phool 2 (character of Tanya "Titli" Awasthi), and Harphoul Mohini (Mohini Chaudhary). She also featured as IAS officer Kashvi Sabharwal in Yeh Hai Chahatein between 2023 and 2024, adding to her popularity. Currently, she can be seen playing Paridhi Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.
When Shagun was interviewed by Filmygyan about contestants of Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 she did not want to keep in contact with once the show ended, she immediately mentioned Gaurav Khanna, who happens to be the only person she does not want to meet.
According to Shagun's explanation of why she chose Gaurav Khanna, he always picks on her in tasks. He is the one who usually criticizes her when several contestants are eliminated in a task. In addition, according to her, Gaurav makes remarks that indicate she is too weak and that she quits very easily in the tasks.
Shagun feels targeted as she believes that compared to other contestants, she gets criticized more.
As of now, Gaurav Khanna has not publicly responded to Shagun Sharma's allegations. With Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 set to premiere soon, viewers will be watching closely to see whether the actor addresses the controversy in the coming days.
