The Traitors 2 Contestants List: So the wait is finally over, as Prime Video has announced officially the contestant lineup for The Traitors Season 2. Once again it’s hosted by Karan Johar and the show is coming back with a brand new blend of Bollywood stars, television actors, influencers, chefs, rappers, and well, social media personalities. This season is scheduled to premiere on August 13, and 21 contestants will be going head-to-head in a game built around trust, deception, and strategy.
And like the first season, the overall format stays the same-ish. Secretly, a few contestants will get selected as ‘Traitors’, and the rest are basically ‘Faithfuls’. The Traitors need to eliminate the Faithfuls without ever revealing who they are, while the Faithfuls are trying to catch them.
Now, the lineup also brings back some familiar faces from the entertainment industry. Mallika Sherawat is returning to reality television after more than a decade, while Munawar Faruqui enters the competition after winning Lock Upp Season 1, and Bigg Boss 17. Also in the mix are television star Shweta Tiwari, actress Rhea Chakraborty, veteran actor Dalip Tahil, and actress Krystle D'Souza, so there’s definitely some serious star power around.
On top of that, there are popular digital creators and influencers like Abhishek Malhan (Fukra Insaan), Rida Tharana, Shahneel Gill, Ansh Chopra, and Prish. Celebrity chef Ranveer Brar, socialite Shalini Passi, rapper Ikka, actress-entrepreneur Parul Gulati, and actor Sahil Salathia, also add their own flavor to the cast.
Other contestants include Aditya Kulshreshtha (Kullu), Soundous Moufakir, Harman Singha, Tanya Puri, Karan Singh, and a bunch of other personalities coming from different professional backgrounds. All together it makes this one of the more diverse casts to show up on an Indian reality show, at least recently, and it should be interesting to watch how everything plays out.
