Maatrubhumi Moive Release: The issue of Maatrubhumi release has again come into talks. The release of the upcoming war drama film from Salman Khan has been through a tough journey. It had a name change, several delays, teasers were criticized, and there were even speculations about the release of the movie itself. But according to a new report, the film has now got a government No Objection Certificate (NOC) as it had seen several changes. As per a report published on Bollywood Hungama, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting seems to be happy with the new form of the movie and has given its NOC in the last week.
Major Transformations Happened In Maatrubhumi
The movie was initially titled Battle of Galwan and would feature the incident where Indian and Chinese forces clashed in the Galwan Valley region in 2020. But later, it was retitled as Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace. Earlier, it had been rumored that issues were arising because of the manner in which China and the battle had been depicted in the movie. In the current report, it has been mentioned that there were major alterations made in the movie after it was shot once again. According to a source mentioned in the report, the movie is now entirely different from its original one and even the connection between India and China is shown in a positive manner. However, the details of the changes are still based on the reports and not on any official information from the filmmakers or Salman Khan.
When will Maatrubhumi Release in November 13?
The most prominent query about Maatrubhumi Release is now the possibility of its release in theaters. As per the Bollywood Hungama news, Salman Khan has been considering November 13, 2026 as the release date for his upcoming film. The date will allow him to release the film after the Diwali celebrations as Diwali is considered one of the most auspicious occasions to release films. But currently, the date has not been finalized yet. The film is also in need of certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The makers of the film are believed to be submitting the updated version to receive certification very soon. From Battle of Galwan to Maatrubhumi
There have been many changes made to this project ever since it was announced. The original name of this movie was Battle of Galwan, which refers to the battle that took place in 2020 in the Galwan valley. However, this movie was later named Maatrubhumi and it was still being awaited for the reasons mentioned above. The movie was supposed to be released in April 2026, however, it was put off later on. Earlier, there were even reports saying that the film was not being produced anymore, however, the makers denied those reports.

Maatrubhumi: May War Rest In Peace is produced by Salma Khan under the banner of Salman Khan Films and the director of this film is Apoorva Lakhia. Chitrangada Singh is another star in the cast playing an important role.
