The race to win Lock Upp 2 has got more exciting, I mean honestly the show just found its second finalist now. With the grand finale sitting right around the corner, the latest episode had this big twist that basically changed everything, and yeah it shocked not only the contestants but the viewers too. After a high-drama set of decisions, Shreya Kalra managed to secure her spot in the grand finale, joining Shivangi Joshi who had already become the first finalist. At the same time, actress Akanksha Chamola was removed from the competition, and her journey ended just days before the finale. A Twist that Switched the Whole Game In the newest episode, the makers tried something that no one really expected. Instead of the usual nomination system, the contestants left inside were split into two groups: the deserving contestants and the undeserving contestants. The deserving contestants were handed this kind of heavy task, deciding which contestant should be eliminated. The eviction scene got pretty emotional because Akanksha had trouble controlling her disappointment. She also said she felt extra hurt , since Ram Kapoor and Varun Yadav thought she was one of the least deserving contestants still left inside the house. Even after leaving, Akanksha still thanked the audience for backing her all season long. Shivangi Joshi Became the First Finalist Last episode had already brought one of those major emotional moments. Actor Harshad Chopda gave up his own chance to become a finalist , just to save Shivangi Joshi. That selfless move made Shivangi the very first contestant to lock in a place in the Lock Upp 2 finale. Fans on social media also reacted a lot , calling it one of the most memorable turns of the season. Grand Finale and Prize Money Lock Upp 2 ke winner will get the grand prize of ₹1 crore , but the other finalists won’t receive any prize money.
Contestant Yogesh Rawat has already managed to secure ₹10 lakh after winning one of those important tasks earlier in the competition, so he is basically the lone contestant who is guaranteed a cash reward, even if everything turns out differently later. Now, with only a few contestants still in the race, the overall competition is expected to heat up more and more, because everyone will be clawing for the championship trophy.
