Kashmera Shah has spoken up for her “maami” Sunita Ahuja. This comes while people are still talking about the issue involving Govinda and his Roopa co-star Komal Rani Swarnkar. Kashmera reacted to a post on Instagram that Komal shared. In it, Komal raised a question about how someone on the same set could know such personal things about another person’s life. Kashmera also talked about the attacks women get in her family. She said that they had never been called “murderers” before, just for supporting the men they care about. In the end, Kashmera said she is proud of Sunita. She added that she plans to stay with her through this.

In an Instagram update, Kashmera talked about how she keeps her work life separate from her private life. She said that over her long career, she has worked with many co-stars.
