Amitabh Bachchan leases three floors in Andheri West to TruNativ for five years
Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has apparently leased three floors of a commercial property in Mumbai’s Andheri West to the nutrition company TruNativ F&B Private Limited, at a monthly rent of ₹33 lakh. As per the property registration records that Zapkey accessed, the five-year lease started from August 15. The three floors are part of the Signature building on Link Road, Oshiwara, and together they span a carpet area of about 8,428 square feet. From what the agreement indicates, TruNativ is said to pay roughly ₹392 per square foot, month after month. Over the full five-year term, the total rental value is estimated at around ₹21.88 crore. The arrangement also includes exclusive parking rights for nine vehicles. TruNativ, as reported, has already paid a security deposit of ₹1.98 crore, while the monthly rent will rise by 5% each year. This might not be Bachchan’s first commercial arrangement in the same building. In 2023, he leased four office units in the Signature building to Warner Music Pvt. Ltd. for ₹17.30 lakh per month. That particular lease began in March 2024 and also came with parking spaces for 12 vehicles. Amitabh Bachchan is widely known for having a large property portfolio. He owns both residential and commercial holdings in Mumbai, along with investments in places like Ayodhya and Alibaug. His most well-known property is Jalsa, the iconic bungalow in Juhu where he and his family live. The home is estimated at roughly ₹100 crore, and it has turned into a recognized landmark, with fans often gathering outside the residence.
The Bachchan family also seems to own other properties in Mumbai, like Janak and Vatsa. Janak is reportedly being used as an office, while Vatsa has been leased out to Citi Bank. Bachchan also has residential places in Juhu and Gurgaon. Two flats in Mumbai’s Borivali area, in Oberoi Sky City, were reportedly picked up for roughly ₹7 crore. Meanwhile, the actor has been investing in real estate beyond Mumbai as well. In April 2024, he was reportedly bought a land parcel in Alibaug, and its estimated worth is said to be over ₹10 crore. Then, in March of this year, Bachchan reportedly acquired a 2.67-acre plot in Ayodhya for ₹35 crore from The House of Abhinandan Lodha. It was said to be his third placement in Ayodhya with the same developer.The most recent lease arrangement, worth about ₹33 lakh per month adds another big commercial property deal to Amitabh Bachchan’s expanding real estate collection.
