Mumbai, Ghatkopar: In today's fast-changing world of education and technology, students need more than textbook knowledge. They must learn to identify real-life problems, find creative solutions and use technology wisely. With this vision, Dnyanprakash Vidyalaya, Ghatkopar (West), Mumbai, run by Vatsalabai Dattatray Charitable Trust, joined hands with Shingeomadan Primary School, Incheon, South Korea, to organise a unique international educational initiative for Class 6 students. The project, titled “India–Korea Students' Global Journey of AI-Enabled Innovation and Entrepreneurship,” gave students an opportunity to learn through real-life experiences. The initiative is based on the ideas of the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), which promotes activity-based, student-centred, skill-based and creative learning. Students identified small problems from their homes, schools and daily lives. They discussed these problems and suggested new ideas to solve them through useful products or services. They also shared their ideas, received suggestions and improved their work. One of the most special parts of this initiative was the interaction between Indian and South Korean students. Students from Dnyanprakash Vidyalaya shared their ideas with their Korean friends, while the Korean students also presented their problems and innovative ideas. This exchange helped students understand different lifestyles, cultures and ways of thinking. It also improved their confidence, communication skills, teamwork and global outlook.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) was also used carefully as a learning tool. Students were first encouraged to think independently and develop their own ideas. They then used AI to improve their ideas and understand new possibilities. They also checked the suggestions given by AI and made changes wherever needed. This helped them understand that AI is not a replacement for human thinking, but a tool that can support learning and creativity. Students participated in the project with great interest, hard work and dedication. Even with limited resources, they made sincere efforts to develop and present their ideas. Parents also encouraged their children and extended valuable support throughout the project. The students' efforts, parents' cooperation and teachers' guidance played an important role in making this initiative successful. The initiative received valuable guidance and encouragement from Hon. Mr. Dattatray Sawant, Founder and inspiration behind the school. His support and trust gave students an opportunity to learn at an international level and showcase their talent.

The Headmistress, Mrs. Nilima Tekade, Primary Section Headmistress, Mrs. Vijaya Said, and the entire teaching staff also extended their valuable support and cooperation. Their combined efforts helped students gain meaningful learning experiences beyond the classroom. The project was planned and coordinated by Mr. Ravindra Sapkale, Assistant Teacher, Dnyanprakash Vidyalaya. Under his guidance, students experienced the complete learning process—from identifying problems and developing new ideas to using AI responsibly, presenting their ideas, receiving feedback and improving their work. Organised on the occasion of International Teachers' Day, this initiative was not just an educational exchange between two countries. It was an effort to encourage students to think globally while finding solutions to local problems. Such activities help develop creativity, confidence, problem-solving skills, digital awareness and a sense of responsibility among young learners.

The message of this initiative is simple: “Think Local. Connect Global. Create Impact.”

The international learning journey of Dnyanprakash Vidyalaya's students is an important step towards their educational and personal growth. It shows that with the right guidance, opportunities and support, students can turn their ideas into meaningful changes in society.
