Redmi Note 17 Pro Series: Xiaomi Launches 10,000mAh Battery Phones in India

Recently, Xiaomi extended its lineup in the smartphone market of India by introducing the new Redmi Note 17 Pro and Redmi Note 17 Pro Max models. These smartphones put an emphasis on battery capacity, screen performance, durability, and cameras. Redmi Note 17 Pro Max comes equipped with an ultra-capacity battery of 10,000mAh of silicon-carbon, whereas the regular version of this smartphone is equipped with a 9,000mAh of silicon-carbon battery. Both smartphones come with big AMOLED screens with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon chips and HyperOS 3 based on Android 16 by Xiaomi.

Redmi Note 17 Pro Max: 10,000mAh Battery

The new Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G is the premium smartphone in the lineup. The main feature of this product is the 10,000mAh silicon-carbon battery together with the 100W HyperCharge technology. According to the developers, in laboratory testing Xiaomi achieved four days' battery lifetime when using the smartphone regularly. In addition, this smartphone has a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 3,500 nits. The processor of the Redmi Note 17 Pro Max is Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 and the operating system is Xiaomi HyperOS 3 on the basis of Android 16. For photo shooting, the user has a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra wide-angle one, and a 32MP selfie camera. In addition, the smartphone has 4K video shooting both in rear and front cameras.

Redmi Note 17 Pro: 9,000mAh Battery

The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G is equipped with a somewhat smaller yet decent 9,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. It can be charged at 67W while the 22.5W reverse wired charging is available. The device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset with 4nm architecture. Its screen measures 6.83 inches in diagonal size and displays content in 1.5K resolution. The panel is AMOLED and it is capable of producing 120Hz refresh rates and 12-bit colours. In terms of maximum brightness, it can go up to 3,500 nits. As far as cameras are concerned, Redmi Note 17 Pro has a 50MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultra-wide and 16MP selfie camera.

Durability Factor

There is also another important factor which contributes greatly to the features of the Redmi Note 17 Pro series phones. Price and Availability

According to the reports about the launch, the Redmi Note 17 Pro costs ₹36,999 in India while the Pro Max starts with ₹49,999. The Redmi Note 17 Pro is set to launch from September 17, and the Pro Max will be launched from September 23, respectively, via Xiaomi's sales network and other big platforms. With such huge silicon-carbon batteries, AMOLED screens, Snapdragon chipsets and improved cameras, Xiaomi introduces the battery-centric smartphones to the latest Note line in India.
