Pranav Constructions Shares List at 33% Premium Over IPO Price on NSE
Pranav Constructions made its stock market debut on Tuesday, and the opening reaction was upbeat. Shares started trading on the NSE at ₹165. That is about a 33% jump from the IPO price of ₹124. On the BSE, the first trade came in at ₹162, which worked out to roughly a 30.6% premium for IPO buyers. The IPO price range was set at ₹118 to ₹124 per share. Using the top end of that range, the NSE move to ₹165 gave investors a clear gain on day one. After the opening push, the trading moved fast in both directions. Profit taking followed, and the price slipped from the early rise. Analysts said buyers should be careful and not rush to buy only because the debut looked strong. Shivani Nyati, Head of Wealth at Swastika Investmart Ltd, pointed to the firm’s base in Mumbai’s Western Suburbs. She also cited growth potential and a valuation that she called fair as positive points. Still, she said people who are thinking of entering now should wait until the share price settles. For those who already hold the stock, Nyati said to keep it, but to set a stop loss at ₹130 to ₹132.
