Yogi Announces 1 Lakh UP Government Jobs in 6 Months
It has been declared by the Chief Minister of the state that the government of Uttar Pradesh will issue appointment letters to one lakh youngsters in the coming six months. The declaration was made by the Chief Minister during the inauguration of the campaign of distributing appointment letters held at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan, Lucknow on Tuesday. The announcement has been made because the government of UP has given appointment letters to 3,446 technical assistants in the agriculture department and 126 Mandi Secretaries.
1 Lakh Appointments to be Made Within Six Months
According to CM Yogi Adityanath, the state government has made an aim of issuing 1 lakh appointment letters in six months' time. As per CM Yogi Adityanath, the examinations for these appointments have been conducted. It has also been ordered by him that the selection agencies must speed up the process of selection. As soon as requisition comes, advertisement must be put up within one month whereas the entire process of examination and result must be done within three months. It is the aim of the government that the appointment letters are issued to the selected candidates within six months.
9.30 Lakh Youth Employed by UP Government: Yogi
While addressing the gathering, Mr. Yogi Adityanath revealed that the government of Uttar Pradesh had been able to provide jobs for 9.30 lakh youth. It has been said that there have not been any recommendations and payments for the recruitment procedure during his rule. As per him, one of the main objectives of the administration has been the transparency of recruitment. The Chief Minister further made comparisons between the current recruitment process and the past one which was prior to 2017.
Target of CM – Previous Governments
CM Yogi Adityanath severely attacked previous governments and especially the Samajwadi Party in his speech. According to him, the previous governments had involved corruption and delays in the process of examination and recruitment before 2017. Addressing the previous political regime, he stated that youth had to wait for their results and sometimes even cases went to the courts due to recruitment issues. The CM stated that his government has acted against the examination and recruitment mafias.
Examination System to Become Speedy
Additionally, the Chief Minister made some remarks on examination reforms. As per him, the UP Board examination system, which used to take several months, has now become more speedy. In the words of Yogi, the examinations can now be done in 15 days and the results can be obtained in 15 days after that. He informed that the same reform is being aimed at in case of recruitment in the higher education sector.
Agriculture and Sugar Industry Focus
As part of the program, Yogi Adityanath also emphasized the contributions of the state government towards the development of agriculture and sugar industry. He said there has been a remarkable improvement in the production and availability of sugar in Uttar Pradesh. According to the data provided by the Chief Minister, there is an availability of 28 lakh tonnes of sugar in the state while its monthly consumption is four lakh tonnes. He said sugar factories will start working from October 15 onwards.
Yogi Asserts UP Has Turned into an Investment Hub
Besides, the Chief Minister also talked about increasing foreign interest in UP and employment opportunities for its youth. While talking about visits of foreign delegations, he said that Japan, Germany, and Israel and other countries are showing interest in Uttar Pradesh. Talking about the Japanese delegation, he said that Japan wants to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Uttar Pradesh. According to Yogi, the investment atmosphere is providing new opportunities for its youth.
Job Recruitment from Government Sectors Continues to Be an Important Priority
The news of creating 1 lakh government jobs within six months would mean a lot for the youth of Uttar Pradesh who are seeking jobs. Faster recruitment, open tests, and prompt appointment letters are the criteria set by the government. The Chief Minister assured that all measures will be taken in order to recruit within the stipulated period. The recent news has come when the state government wants to show their commitment to job creation and administrative reforms. Should the target be met, there will be thousands of young men and women getting appointments letters from government departments in six months.
