Yamuna Water Level: Water in the Yamuna has gone up fast. Because of that, the Nun River is no longer carrying water as usual. The Mangraol Bridge is now under about three feet of water. Access to nearby villages has been hit, and people cannot move easily. In Padri, Narhan, and Urkara Kala, residents say daily travel has become hard. The roads are blocked in practice, so getting around takes much more time. Some families who used to cross Mangraol Bridge to reach Kalpi now have to use a longer path. Reports also note that these villages do not have easy direct links to the tehsil headquarters like before.

Mangraol Bridge is a key link for people living in nearby villages. In usual times, residents from Padri and the adjoining areas can get to Kalpi by covering about 13 km, using the bridge on the way. Since the bridge went under water, the trip is no longer the same. The route to the tehsil headquarters now stretches to almost 40 km. Villagers have to take other roads to reach the offices. This change has added fresh trouble for locals. Many still need to go for bank work, meet officials, get treatment, and handle other basic services. It has also caught some travellers off guard.
