Kerala’s 19-year-old Kaizia Liz Mejo won the Miss Universe India 2026 title in Jaipur and will represent India in Puerto Rico
Kaizia Liz Mejo, winner of Miss Universe India 2026, was awarded her crown at the finale event that was conducted in Jaipur on August 23, 2026. The 19-year-old hailing from Kerala won over the 52 other contestants and will go on to represent India at the Miss Universe 2026 event that will take place in Puerto Rico in November. The finale event took place at Zee Studios in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Kaizia made an impressive performance in the last stages and finally won the national crown. The previous winner, Manika Vishwakarma, crowned Kaizia at the event.
Top 5 Finalists of Miss Universe India 2026
The Miss Universe India 2026 pageant was contested by five finalists who participated in the competition to clinch the country's crown. Top 5 contestants were Vaishnavi Ganesh of Tamil Nadu, Tejaswini Srivastava from Maharashtra, Kaizia Liz Mejo of Kerala, Anushree Satwalekar of Gujarat and Anubha Vashishtha from Uttarakhand. The two finalists to go into the top final 2 were Kaizia and Vaishnavi Ganesh, who fought for the win with equal vigor, but Kaizia finally won. The other runners-up positions went to Vaishnavi Ganesh (first runner-up), Anushree Satwalekar (second runner-up), Tejaswini Srivastava (third runner-up) and Anubha Vashishtha (fourth runner-up).

Miss Universe India 2026: Third Edition of the Beauty Contest
The Miss Universe India 2026 contest was the third edition of the pageant. There were 52 participants in total who took part in the finale. The winner of the pageant and the winner of the national crown is Kaizia Liz Mejo, who was crowned by Manika Vishwakarma after some competitive rounds.
