India stayed on top as Prasidh Krishna dismissed Kamil Mishara after their 503/9 declaration.
India took control over the second Test match against Sri Lanka in Colombo after Prasidh Krishna created a fast breakthrough in sending back Kamil Mishara. The Indians were well placed ahead of the third day of the match after they declared their first innings score at 503/9 because of some wonderful batting performance from Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel. Due to this excellent total in their scorecard, it was not difficult for the Indian bowlers to put the opposition in trouble.
Padikkal and Jurel Lead India's Batting Charge
With Devdutt Padikkal and Dhruv Jurel scoring centurions for the Indian side, it can be said that the Indians' brilliant performance during the first innings was due to their performances, which helped the team reach over 500 runs.
