Hindi Movies and OTT Releases: This coming September 2026 is anticipated to be filled with lots of exciting Hindi movies and OTT releases. Amongst those releases, there are films that include Taapsee Pannu's action thriller called Gandhari, along with the long-awaited Mirzapur: The Movie. The action thriller film called "Gandhari" will be released on Netflix on September 3, 2026. The main actors of the film are Taapsee Pannu, Ishwak Singh, Chhaya Kadam and Swastika Mukherjee, and the director is Devashish Makhija. In this movie, a mother loses her daughter in an abduction and starts the challenging task of finding her kid. On her journey, the woman arrives in a mysterious town called Joypurra and learns about the network that is engaged in child trafficking. In this film, the heroine goes through various difficulties and needs courage to save her daughter. This thriller film contains a lot of drama and action, but in addition to this, Taapsee Pannu's performance is supposed to be physical.

Mirzapur: The Movie

The much-awaited Mirzapur: The Movie will hit the theatres on September 4, 2026. The action crime thriller movie is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and includes the actors Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Divyenndu, and Jitendra Kumar. It is an extension of the immensely popular Mirzapur universe created in the Prime Video series and takes the plot to the big screen. The movie has a focus on the conflict for control of Mirzapur and its throne. Kaleen Bhaiya continues to be an essential part of the movie while new threats emerge for his empire because of some new enemies. 

Jeevan Bheema Yojana

Jeevan Bheema Yojana will be out in theatres on September 4, 2026. The Hindi crime comedy movie stars Arshad Warsi, Sanjeeda Shaikh and Vijay Raaz, and it is directed by Abhishek Dogra. The movie showcases a double role of Arshad Warsi. In the plot, the debt-laden husband and wife look for an escape route but get a new hope after meeting a stranger called Bheema who looks exactly like the husband. The couple decides to use the resemblance as part of an insurance scam, but their plan soon goes wrong. The arrival of a gangster and Bheema's connection to a smuggling racket make the situation even more complicated. The film is expected to combine comedy, crime and confusion for a light-hearted theatrical experience.

Bigg Boss 20

Bigg Boss 20 season is all set to air on September 6, 2026, where Salman Khan is all set to take up the hosting duties once again. The 20th season of the famous reality TV show will be aired through the JioHotstar app and there will be many new changes in the show. There have been speculations about some new twists in the show and one such twist has been related to elimination as the term “Vardaan” has been used in relation to it. In addition, the Karan Arjun twist is another addition that is yet to be revealed. It is believed that Salman Khan will be one of the biggest attractions in the upcoming season, but the contestants, house dynamics, task, and sudden eliminations are some other aspects that will make it entertaining for audiences.
