Bigg Boss 20: Salman Khan Roasts Kanika Mann After She Mocks Qazi Touqeer
Bigg Boss 20 witnessed another entertaining moment during the latest Weekend Ka Vaar episode when host Salman Khan came to Kanika Mann’s rescue after she appeared to mock fellow contestant Qazi Touqeer during his performance. The incident took place in front of Bollywood stars Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana, who entered the reality show to promote their upcoming film Udta Teer. During their interaction with the contestants, Sara Ali Khan surprised everyone by revealing that she has a personal connection with Qazi Touqeer. She shared that her best friend has been a huge fan of Qazi since his Fame Gurukul days and continues to support him during his journey in Bigg Boss 20. Sara then asked Qazi to perform the popular song Afghan Jalebi. Qazi happily accepted the request and delivered a performance for the guests and housemates. Ayushmann Khurrana also praised Qazi for his performance and encouraged him for his efforts inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
However, while Qazi was performing, Kanika Mann was seen making funny faces and appearing to mock his performance. Her reaction did not go unnoticed by Sara, who questioned Kanika about why she seemed unhappy with the act. Kanika responded in a sarcastic manner, saying, “No, your friend is also his friend, itna kyun chadha rahe hain aap log inko aake?” Her comment created a light-hearted but awkward moment among the contestants. Sara then decided to take the joke a step further. She asked Ayushmann to tell Kanika that one of his friends was also a fan of hers. Kanika immediately became interested and asked the actor to confirm it. Ayushmann then humorously revealed that one of his friends had a crush on Kanika. The moment gave Salman Khan the perfect opportunity to tease Kanika. The host delivered a witty one-liner, saying, “Yes, even my fan is a fan of yours. Ghar par jo fan laga hai aur chal nahi raha hai, woh aapka bahut bada fan hai.”
Salman’s remark left the housemates and guests amused. His playful roast became one of the highlights of the episode, while Kanika found herself at the centre of attention after her reaction to Qazi’s performance. The episode also featured a major twist related to the latest eviction. During a mid-week eviction, Rhiti Tiwari was shown the exit after fellow contestants Uditi Singh, Yung DSA and Mahhi Vij collectively selected her as the housemate who had contributed the least to the show. However, the eviction story took an unexpected turn during Weekend Ka Vaar. Salman Khan revealed that Olympic champion Mary Kom had actually received the fewest public votes among the nominated contestants. Despite receiving the lowest number of votes, Mary Kom was saved because of a special game mechanic that gave her two lives in the competition. As a result, Mary Kom lost one of her lives but continued her journey inside the Bigg Boss 20 house. The twist added another layer of suspense to the ongoing season, where contestants are facing increasing pressure as the competition progresses.
Meanwhile, Sara Ali Khan and Ayushmann Khurrana appeared on the show to promote their upcoming film Udta Teer. Directed by Akash A. Kaushik in his directorial debut, the film features a large ensemble cast, including Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan, Rahul Bose, Ram Kapoor, Suhail Nayyar, Gulshan Grover, Mukul Dev, Raghubir Yadav, Brijendra Kala, Sandeep Anand, Supriya Pilgaonkar and Smita Tambe. The film is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain. Udta Teer is scheduled to arrive in theatres on October 23. With Salman Khan’s sharp humour, Qazi Touqeer’s performance and Kanika Mann’s reaction becoming the talking points, the latest Bigg Boss 20 episode delivered plenty of entertainment for viewers.
