Nurul Hossain: A Vision for Accessible, Quality Education in India

Nurul Hossain has built his career on a belief that education has the power to change lives long before it changes careers. His entrepreneurial journey has never been driven by the desire to create another educational venture. Instead, it has been guided by a commitment to make quality education accessible to students who dream of becoming doctors, professionals, and future leaders. From introducing India's first international offshore MBBS campus to launching a modern international school and planning a new university in Bihar, Nurul continues to expand opportunities for young people across the country.

The journey began in 2018 with a conversation at Bengaluru Airport that would shape the years ahead. During a meeting with senior education leaders, an opportunity emerged to introduce Lincoln University College Malaysia's offshore MBBS campus in India. Encouraged by respected academicians and supported by a dedicated team, Nurul accepted the challenge with a clear purpose. His goal was never limited to opening another institution. He wanted students from ordinary families to receive internationally recognised medical education without leaving behind their dreams. That decision became the beginning of a mission that continues to influence medical education in India.

Launching India's first offshore MBBS campus required careful planning because no similar model existed in the country. Before welcoming the first batch of students, every academic regulation and graduation requirement was studied in detail to ensure the program met international standards. Public trust had to be earned through transparency, consistency, and direct engagement with students and parents across different states. At the age of just 26, Nurul Hossain was appointed Registrar of the offshore MBBS campus, making him one of the youngest professionals to hold such a significant academic and administrative position in the field.

Building the institution demanded persistence. Extensive travel, student counselling, and continuous engagement with families became part of everyday life as the program earned credibility across the country. Rather than allowing obstacles to slow progress, Nurul remained focused on delivering quality education and creating opportunities for aspiring doctors. Today, many graduates have successfully cleared the FMGE examination, completed internships in government medical colleges, and begun serving as registered doctors across the country. For Nurul, these accomplishments are the most meaningful measure of success because they represent lives transformed through education.

His work did not stop with medical studies. After witnessing the difference quality education could make, Nurul turned his attention to younger learners by establishing Lincoln International School. He believes meaningful learning begins long before university. The school has been created to prepare children not only for examinations but also for leadership, entrepreneurship, creativity, communication, and compassion. Digital learning, artificial intelligence, robotics, international exposure, and strong moral values all form part of the learning experience. His ambition is to build an affordable international standard school where students from different backgrounds receive opportunities that prepare them for a global future.

Another chapter of his journey is now taking shape in Bihar, where he is working with the state government on a new university project. Nurul believes Bihar has produced generations of remarkable scholars, yet many talented students still leave the state in search of quality higher education. His vision is to create a university that combines academic excellence with healthcare education, research, professional studies, and industry partnerships. Plans also include a modern medical college that can widen access to professional education while creating employment and encouraging regional development. For him, education is one of the strongest ways to strengthen communities for decades to come.

Beyond his work in education, Nurul has also expanded his entrepreneurial interests through investments in Dubai as a UAE Golden Visa holder. The experience has strengthened his belief in disciplined decision making, continuous learning, and creating long term value across different markets.

Looking back, Nurul measures success by the people whose lives have changed because of education. Every graduate who becomes a doctor, every student who gains confidence, and every family that places its trust in his work reminds him why the journey began. His focus remains unchanged: creating institutions that widen access to quality education and leave a lasting impact on future generations.
